My Work
The lead ideas in all my works are always the themes of a small person in the gigantic space of the universe and the search for mutual understanding. That is why I work as an interdisciplinary artist, because only through a mixture of genres and methods does this world become more understandable to me. At the intersection of music, theater, visual art, texts, movement, the humanity and nature appear for me. This is exactly what interests me in art: finding such intersections and understanding myself and others in these conditions of eternal search.
Biography
I graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in 2017 as an actress of drama theater and cinema. Have worked at the Musical Theater for 5 years, simultaneously engaging in various independent projects. Soon after graduation, I also started to stage plays and participate in the directing and drama laboratories.
For now I have performances in numerous languages: belarusian, polish, czech, russian and english.
My passion lies in music accompanying my performances. In productions I combine vocalisation and plasticity through the folklore and modern music. I'm also known for my singing career under the name ČORNABROVA, creating content at the intersection of alternative hip-hop and folklore.
